Reality, also known as the Barrel, is the collective existence of all the various narrative layers of the Omniverse, including Fiction, Unreality, and Hyperreality.
List of all layers
Little is known about this layer of reality. It is believed to be an infinitely large universe that is completely unreachable to anyone below that level. Most people believe that the ones in this universe control our universe through "wikis". Communication there is possible, however believed to be controlled or altered by these people. These people call it "the real world" and anyone below it "fiction". Fictional beings are completely unable to enter Hyperreality, no matter what, according to them.

Operation Renormalise is a mission set out to travel to Hyperreality and terminate members of The New Norm Wiki Council. citizens of Hyperreality which control the New Norm Multiverse, being done at the request of Jackthepogchamp68. It is the first recorded attempt to travel beyond the Fifth Wall.
A barrier preventing any fictional characters from travelling into Hyperreality, which has never been broken in the history of Reality, and never will.
Also known as Metafiction, these are the higher layers in which is composed of and exists between the fictional and hyperreality elements of the Omniverse. It is commonly visited by some multiversal franchise characters including Rick and Morty, SCP-3812 and SCP-2747, and Ultimate Dirk Strider. There are an incomprehensibly infinite number of narrative layers that go above fiction. One layer sits on top of another, then another sits on top the higher layer, etc. Universe Prime is an example of a place located in Metareality.
A wall, sometimes just a metaphorical one, that splits narrative fiction (the Omniverse) and meta elements (Metareality) of creations. In some creations the fourth wall is weaker and therefore characters are more capable to break it more often, meanwhile in some creations it is fully impenetrable.
Every book, television show, movie, video game, board game, legend, fairy tale, comic book, fan-fiction, cancelled or rejected project, and other piece of art is created and resides here within creations. Most creations stop here for exploring, because the Fictional Omniverse is already absolutely infinite and therefore further exploration is not required. This segment is controlled by higher beings in Metareality and Hyperreality.
This section of the Omniverse lies below Fiction and is what fictional beings see as fiction. It's where all stories within stories and fictional fictional media take place. Barely anyone has travelled to this place due to it being a lower narrative stack.
Given there's Hyperreality, the Omniverse is certain to contain an opposite. There is currently no information known about Hyperunreality, and we will never know what's down there. Maybe an exact copy of Hyperreality? Maybe the greatest anf most profound story ever told, never told, and will be told is set there? Who knowns!
