The Overvoid[1], also known as Beyond Space, The Void, The Omniversal Void, Monadious[2], The Void Between Realities, NV-00[3], The Nothingness[3], The Pitch[3], or Nothing, is the primordial, empty space between all realities in the Omniverse, existing between every 10/11th dimensional slice that's not tied to any cosmological structure. Although it is mostly portrayed as being white, possibly symbolising the blank canvas writers and artists use to create anything they want, it actually has no comprehensible appearance nor form, just space between all.
Staying within The Overoid for too long would result in severe decaying due to the laws of physics breaking apart. Creation stabilization techology can be used to delay the decay temporarily.
Floating around the Overvoid are asteroids containing Void Rock which contains small quantities of Rearnium
Composition
Uses
The Overvoid is the best way to get Rearnium in terms of Cost:Reward ratio, after all this technically has an infinite supply. The Void Rock can also be used as an energy absorption tool, which cancels out rearnium and most other energy sources with a few exceptions.
Trivia
- Though not officially confirmed by DC's Writers, The Overvoid is depicted as serving a similar role in the Omniverse as the Bleed does in the DC Comics Multiverse: while the Bleed exists between universes, the Overvoid exists between other fictional realities and is where the Hands[4] and other Omniversal Creation Deities create new realities[5][6][7].
